Our Czech office was founded in 2012 by three partners Dušan Dvořák, Tomáš Rada and David Vaníček, who formerly cooperated as attorneys-at-law from 2008.

Trofin & Associates SCA was founded in March 2003 by Mr. Valentin Trofin as a law firm specialized in construction industry and corporate law.

Our office in Russia was established in 2014 and divided into 2 parts. Front office is located in Moscow, back office is located in Voronezh

Our Hungarian office was founded in 2013 in Budapest and is within a stone's throw from the famous Parliament building in the heart of the judicial district.

Founded in 2013, our Polish office is located in Katowice capital city of Silesia Region - the main Polish industrial and commercial hub.

Management Board

Sven Höbel

President of the Management Board

Sven is a German and Czech attorney-at-law. He holds a Master in International Business Law of the Central European University in Budapest. As a junior lawyer, he worked at the High Court of Berlin and a renowned international business law firm of Berlin.

Since 2012, Sven has been working for renowned international law firms in Prague, taking care of foreign companies’ legal affairs in the Czech Republic. In addition, Sven coordinated numerous multi-jurisdiction projects that covered more than one country of the region of Central and Eastern Europe.

Sven advises international clients on Czech business law. In cooperation with the local colleagues of the Visegrad+ network, he takes care of his clients‘ affairs in the whole region of Central and Eastern Europe. As Sven has a large network of professional contacts in the German speaking countries, he is able to assist CEE companies in finding the right local professional for any possible legal issue that they might have in any of the German speaking countries.

Sven is German native speaker and has perfect English and Czech and he is fluent in French.

Ádám Illés

Vice-President of the Management Board

Ádám is a Hungarian attorney-at-law. After his graduation at the Eötvös Loránd University he obtained a Master of Law at the University of Göttingen focusing on competition law and recently he completed a professional course for corporate lawyers at his alma mater with a thesis on crowdfunding.

In his junior years, Ádám worked at a Hungarian law firm representing mostly German companies in Hungary and spent an internship at a renowned law office in Hanover during his studies in Germany. Following his admittance to the Hungarian Bar Association, he joined a Czech regional law firm to help establish the firm's Hungarian office which he led as partner for more than 3 years. He established his own law firm in 2017.

Ever since his graduation, Ádám has been taking care of foreign companies' legal affairs in Hungary, advising them on different aspects of business law. Ádám has a strong dedication to mergers and acquisitions - he contributed to the Hungarian chapter of Mergers & Acquisitions International Series by Sweet & Maxwell in 2016 and he advised several international clients on both sides of transactions.

Ádám is a member of the Board of the Czech-Hungarian Business Association. He speaks fluent English and German.

Dimitar Stoimenov

Vice-President of the Management Board

Dimitar completed his studies at the Faculty of Law of the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” in 2003. After that he has obtained a L.LM. in German and comparative law at the University of Osnabrueck in Germany and continued working as an academic assistant with the Study Group on an European Civil Code lead by Prof. Dr. Christian von Bar and financed by the European Commission.

After returning to Bulgaria in 2009 until 2017 Dimitar was leader of the German Desk of the international law firm Peterka & Partners responsible for the management of its Bulgarian office as well as for the delivery of the services granted to its German speaking clients worldwide.

Dimitar specializes in commercial and company law, M&As and project financing schemes. He gained comprehensive experience in the field of public procurement and concessions (representing a big number of foreign investors and participants within major public procurement projects).

Since 2009 Dimitar has been working as academic assistant at the Legal Faculty of the Sofia University, teaching law of obligations and training the Moot Court Team of the University in the famous Vis Moot competition which takes place every spring in Vienna.

His academic interests vary from national private law to the newest comparative legal researches in the field of the contract and property law. He is often requested by the European Parliament and the European Commission to assist in their comparative studies in Bulgaria.

Dimitar speaks fluent English, German and French and has initial knowledge of Greek.
